Mr McPhunn and the Compressor

We heard a really loud  noise outside our classroom so we went to investigate.

There was Mr McPhunn with a compressor. He was fixing the Goal Post. Mr McPhunn had put some tar-seal in the hole then had to pat it down with the compressor.

Some of us had a try. It made us wobble and vibrate.

We laughed a lot as it was hard to control. The machine jumped around fast.

Mr McPhunn made sure we were safe. It was FUN!

Cup Cakes - YUM!

It was Wiki's 7th Birthday. Her Mum brought us all a cupcake to celebrate together.

Wiki handed everyone a cake with an enormous smile.

First we had to get them open. This was challenging. We had to undo the pink ribbon, remove the sticky cellotape, then unwrap the clingy wrap.

Wiki is enjoying her Cup-Cake with friends and still smiling.
"Thank you Wiki".

Peyton found the cup-cake delicious. 'Finger Licking GOOD'!

Hayz fooling around after creating a costume.

Who do you think Hayz looks like?

The Snowman By Raymond Briggs

We drew these pictures after watching the story on You Tube. We outlined in Vivid Pen then coloured the snow with pastel. Finally we dyed the pictures to finish them. We were really pleased with how our illustrations looked.

Tech Expo

Jeide and Sarah are practising using the Mimio Pad for the Tech Expo.

Our visit to the Life Education Classroom

Mr Keelty talked to Harold and he shared his 'Feelings Bucket' with us.

We looked at the cards on the wall and sorted them into Bucket Fillers and Bucket Dippers.

Vetaia found a Bucket Filler Card so he was able to add some blocks to the bucket to make us feel good. Mr Keelty called these "Warm Fuzzies"

This is our list of Bucket Fillers.

This is our list of Bucket Dippers.
When we came back to our classroom we used our 'Life Education Books' to work from. Our books were about 'Feelings'.

Fractional Flags

We made flags from a Maths Problem we were given. We had to use half red, quarter green and an eighth yellow and blue. Here are some of our designs.
